The initiative by ‘Kids for Tigers’ yesterday showed the continued interest and concern of kids in protecting the wild cats. They are very much aware of the importance too. Around 500 kids gathered for the event based on the topic ‘Climate Change’ in Bangalore with all posters and masks of tigers. The events came to an end with a meeting to create understanding on safeguarding natural resource…

Garden City
A very short review of Bangalore!!!
The city which is known for its greenery, even from the days of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV (1884-1940) remained with Mysore State, after Independence, with Maharaja of Mysore as the ruler.
And Bangalore is also the first city to have hydroelectric powered electricity in India. Bangalore experienced rapid growth a decade before and after the independence, and saw the arrival of many immigrants from different parts of India.
In the decades that followed, Bangalore's private sector flourished and especially the manufacturing base developed with a lot of private companies being setup in the city. The city witnessed the real estate boom in the early 1980's and 90's and the investors converted large spaces into apartments and the trend still continues and changed the face of the city from a sleepy 'Pensioners Paradise' to the most Happening city in India. And later from 90's onwards it turned out to be the Silicon Valley of East and still continues stronger..........
