Jog Falls

Jog Falls flowing with all its proud

The pride of Karnataka, Jog falls(829ft) is in Shimoga district (around 380km from Bangalore) is the highest plunge waterfall in India. It is a great tourist attraction and a must see place. Never miss this majestic falls whenever in Bangalore (Karnataka).

(This awesome snap is taken by our South Korean Manager Mr Justin who was here last year. All of us were in deep sleep, about 5 o'clock early in the morning, after a great booze the night before. As planned earlier(though i forgot), suddenly Justin wake me up to get ready for the photo shoot-out. He is an awesome lens man with a great sense of angle. we both went to this place and he shot this wonderful early morning snap. )

On the way to Jog falls
(I have already mentioned about this falls in an earlier post)

A beautiful forest route and shops like these are seen once in a while to quench our thirst!

(We had this trip last year from office)

Dats me having a nice 'shower' ;-)

This was a bit scary stuff. But then, the boatman convinced that the boat is strong enough for 5 people and we rowed for about 30 minutes

Enjoyed the virtual venture - matched images and tags and felt as if I were indeed on a guided tour - thanks for a fun trip! Do stop by again.

wow! so the falls are in full force now ? i was planning to visit jog falls one of these days but was not sure it would match up my expectations. but this is good.. :)

Indolence is a delightful but distressing state; we must be doing something to be happy. Action is no less necessary than thought to the instinctive tendencies of the human frame.
